Two days before we left home Karis started walking all over the house without holding on. A huge answer to prayer! She is walking everywhere now and even picking up the pace. she started pretend talking on the phone and the remote control. She says "hello" then babbles a whole conversation in Karis talk.
Since we still haven't gotten our shipment with her toys, she has been hard to entertain. We got her a water table as a late Christmas present and she loves it. She likes to try and sneak things from around the house out the door to dunk in the water. She has somehow gotten two books, a diaper, and attempted the remote and teddy bear. Lol.
Her new trick is climbing over the back of the sofa. In the theatre room, the couches are lower to the ground so she can climb on to them. Since one is on a step, she has learned it isn't too far to climb over.
Karis still LOVES her sister. She kisses on her and hugs her. If Karlee is crying, she will go and find her paci or blanket and bring it to her. If Karlee and I are rocking, Karis wants to join us.
I have put Karis to work with chores already. ;) She loves to help with the laundry, sweeping, and wiping her face and the table. She will find any piece of clothing and put it in the washer. Even if it is straight out of her dresser!
We love this girl so much! She has been so happy since she started walking. So thankful!
