Shipment

Saturday marks our one month since we left Houston! Time has flown by. We still have not received our air freight. So much for only taking 1-2 weeks. We packed up our stuff on the 8th of January. We were never really told of any requirements, but heard by word of mouth that to expect about a 4x4 foot container. When the packers arrived they said that Oceaneering approved 1200 pounds to be shipped based off of a surveyors estimation. We turned out that we went over the pounds so our stuff sat in Houston for approval until the 14th which is when we left. So we lost about a week there. We got an update a few days later that our stuff arrived in Perth and waiting on customs. About 2 weeks later, which the end of last week, Mike called the moving company here in Austraila to see what's taking so long. Turns out that they had a question about whether medication and food were in our shipment. They emailed the moving company in Houston to find out and they didn't get a response. Instead of calling them or us they just let our stuff sit there. Mike told them yes we had those things in the shipment which goes along with the paperwork they already had! So our stuff is finally at customs and hopefully we should get in the next few days.
It hasn't been too terrible without it all. We have furniture and a few things to get by. One pot, one skillet, one knife etc. God has defentially taught me that we can get by on so much less. It is just a little more work.  Poor Karlee has only 3 summer outfits we have been rotating and she is about to out grow them! It has been hard to entertain Karis without her toys and Karlee without her swing and bouncer seat. But we have all survived without too much fuss.
Have to send you off with some adorable sisterly love!
